The Championships and Cultural Festival promote friendship, goodwill, and competition between Taekwondo athletes. It is also a wonderful spectator sport for family and friends.  The chairman of the U.S.A. Taekwondo Oregon Chief Grandmaster Shin has signified his intention to revive the sport on Saipan, according to Northern............ Marianas Amateur............... Sports Association...... president Michael A. White.White said that Jay K. Shin earlier informed the NMASA about his arrival today with the goal of reestablishing the sports here in the CNMI.White has recalled that several years ago NMASA had an active taekwondo association.“As far as I know, no one is actively practicing this sport here now".It is Important for our state that Chief Grandmaster Shin was appointed as an advisor to kukkiwon.
